1) Overview

Open Worktime Tracker (“Service”) is a free tool intended for teams to record working time, pauses, and (optionally) photos as part of their internal workflow. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

2) Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be legally able to use the Service in your location.
• Team leaders may invite team members to join their organization within the Service.
• You’re responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and all activity under your account.

3) Acceptable Use

• Do not upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, probe, or bypass any access controls.
• Use the Service only for legitimate team time-tracking needs.

4) Team Leader Settings

Team leaders can configure options such as whether photos are required during shift start/stop or pauses. When enabled, certain actions may be blocked until a photo is provided. Team leaders are responsible for ensuring their settings and usage comply with applicable laws and policies.

5) Content & License

You retain ownership of content you upload (e.g., names, shift records, photos). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You represent and warrant you have the rights to upload it.

6) Changes to the Service

The Service may change or be discontinued at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. If you continue using the Service after updates, you accept the revised Terms.

7) Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation or that the Service will meet your needs. Use is at your own risk.

8) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the Service.

9) Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

Because deleting administrator accounts and organizations can permanently remove all data for a team, deletion of admin accounts or entire organizations is not handled automatically in the app. If you want to close an organization or delete an administrator account, please contact us personally through the support form so we can verify the request and prevent accidental removal of whole organizations.

10) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts in that jurisdiction.
